Crucial element in getting Thiago deal done, is #LFC success in negotiations for fee to be paid in increments over course of the 4 year contract.

With so much financial uncertainty in the time of Covid, that was a key Bayern concession which eased Anfield concerns over price.

So basically LFC will pay only around £5m this year, the rest in yearly instalments.

Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Thiago Alcântara from Bayern Munich for an initial fee of £20 million in a bold statement of their intent to retain the Premier League title.

The Spain midfielder, 29, will undergo a medical on Friday when he arrives from Munich and will sign a four-year contract.

Jürgen Klopp is also considering bringing in further competition for his front three and has shown interest in Watford’s Ismaïla Sarr but there has been no bid yet.

Neće to baš ići tako brzo ja mislim. Igrat će sigurno i protiv Libcolna i Arsenala, ali bez obzira šta je vanserijski igrač, mislim da ćemo isto trebat neko vrijeme da se adaptira na naš sustav.
